Hi, I’m Anjanee. I am an urban fantasy, fantasy romance, and romance author with over 50+ books published across three pen names.
I’ve achieved what most authors dream of: a consistent six-figure annual revenue from my writing.
But I didn’t start out that way—I built this success over many years while working part-time as a Neonatal Intensive Care doctor, learning every aspect of publishing and marketing through relentless experimentation and refinement. I didn’t start to make a five-figure income until four years after that photograph was taken. And it took me another six years to hit a quarter of a million dollars in annual income.

Absolutely. Getting to a six-figure income is not a piece of cake. Most authors will quit writing after a few years. And only a fraction will get to make a full-time living from this career. One thing you’ll hear me say time and time again. There are no mistakes in this business. Everything we do, whatever the outcome, is a learning experience.
